Pirate afternoon at the
beach Guides
began in Yeppoon in 1930 and except for a 13 year break (1950-1963)
has been operating ever since Major
fundraising activity is the Hobby Horse Derby which is held annually
on the 3rd Saturday in May at Beaman Park, Yeppoon. This
year it will be held on Saturday 21st May in Beaman Park, Yeppoon.
